Tuuletar had a very succesful trip to US in January 2016. Tuuletar collaborated with one of the North America’s leading A Cappella production companies, Liquid 5th and spend a week in their studio in North Carolina. After this Tuuletar traveled to New York to perform in a Scandinavian cultural center Scandinavia House.

The album will include original songs from Tuuletar and the music will be produced by Chris Juengel and Carl Taylor from Liquid 5th. Album will be released in Finland in June 2016 by a Finnish record label Bafe’s Factory. Album cover will be designed by a Finnish graphic designer Teo Tuominen and the realease concert will be the 29th of June 2016 in Kuudes Linja, Helsinki.

Tuuletar has signed a record deal with Finnish record label Bafe’s Factory. Bafe’s Factory will produce Tuuletar’s debut album, which will be recorded in North Carolina, US, in January 2016.

Bafe’s Factory is an independent record label based in Helsinki, Finland, run by Jyri and Aija Lehtonen. The company supports Finnish artists, who make original music and aim for international career.

Tuuletar will perform at VOICE MANIA -festival in Vienna, Austria. Tuuletar will do two concerts during the weekend of 5th and 6th of December. Voice Mania is an annual a cappella festival held in the heart of Vienna. The festival is a month-long-event and is presenting vocal groups and choirs from all around the world.
Tuuletar is the only Finnish group performing at the festival this year.

Tuuletar will perform in “The Long Night of A Cappella”
in Metropol Theatre on saturday the 5th of December.

Tuuletar will also give a special performance in the Final Event of Voice Mania
at Theatre Spittelberg on sunday the 6th of December

Tuuletar has made a recording agreement with an US based a cappella studio Liquid 5th Productions. Tuuletar will travel to North Carolina at the end of January and record the music for their upcoming album. Liquid 5th is one of the leading vocal music production companies in the US with employees and affiliates located in New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Tuuletar’s debut album will be released in the Summer 2016.

Tuuletar will perform at the Carnival of Light (“Valokarnevaali”) at the Linnanmäki amusement park in October. Festival will be held for the tenth time.
This year the event takes place from 10th to 18th October in Helsinki when Linnanmäki will be full of stunning lights, amazing performances and magical atmosphere.

Tuuletar performs on Wednesday 14th Oct at the outdoor stage “Estradi” at 7 pm. After Tuuletar Finnish reggae star Raappana enters the stage.

Tuuletar has started collaboration with German music agency Tomato Production. Company’s CEO Tino Grasselt represents artists from different cultures, nationalities and music styles.

The collaboration and gig sales are mostly targeted to Central-European markets. In Finland, Tuuletar continues the co-operation with producer Johanna Sauramäki and Saura Booking Agency.

Tuuletar won the second prize at the international a cappella competition Vokal Total 2015 in Graz, Austria. Tuuletar attended to a POP-cathegory that had 16 participating groups from all around the world. Tuuletar won also the Audience Award in the POP 1 – Afternoon Showcases and a Gold Diploma in the whole POP-cathegory. Tuuletar was performing with their own compositions, in Finnish language, which is very unusual in this competition. Tuuletar is the first Finnish group ever to be awarded in this competition. The winner of the POP-cathegory was Zenith from South Korea.

Vokal Total is held annually in Graz. This was the 15th year of the competition. The jury consists of well-known a cappella professionals Lauren Kinhan (US), Matthias Becker (GER), Andrea Figallo (ITA) and Anders Jalkéus (SWE).

Tuuletar attened to the international a cappella competition in Leipzig, Germany. Tuuletar was one of the 10 competing groups taking part for the final competition. The competition is highly appreciated, annual platform for vocal groups from all around Europe. The competition is part of the Leipzig A Cappella -festival. Tuuletar performed in Mendehlsson hall in Gewandhaus the 13th of May 2015. The jury gave Tuuletar a lot of credit and roses for their original music, unique performance and captivating stage presence. The winner of the competition this year was Jazzation from Hungary.

Tuuletar made an collaboration with an awesome Swedish producer Fredrik Arvidsson, and here’s the result, a new song “Ruhtinaan Tyttäret”! They decided to make a song for EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2015, unfortunately song didn’t make it to the competition but it became an EPIC song with summer vibes anyway!! Enjoy!!
